Each legislation period thousands of new bills are proposed. Our legislators are inundated with proposed policies from both their colleagues and the people covering a multitude of different ideas, solutions, and precautionary efforts. Be it environmental, economic, educational, health, or budgeting, our legislators have their work cut out for them trying to make important decisions for the people of this nation.

Because there are thousands of bills that slip right past the citizens of this country, The National Community Initiative has formed to create opportunities for the people to be educated on government basics and empowering citizens to take an active role in the decision making.

We believe that action begins with the individual and through one comes many. Through community, education and action we believe together we can influence this country.

The National Community Initiative (NCI) is a bipartisan advocacy group for it’s local communities nationwide. We create opportunities for citizens to get involved in their government and communities, offering education workshops, trainings, and support groups for pressing issues that affect our communities and in doing so, our Nation. Our mission is to empower our communities to be an active part of the policies that affect them most.
